With the start of the winter semester 2021/22, the Voluntary Scientific Year at the Ruhr University Bochum has begun for the first time. The one-year initiative enables the selected high school graduates to gain insight into the research projects of the engineering and electrical engineering chairs and to participate in university events such as seminars and lectures.

The four participants work each at the Chair of Electronic Circuitry, the Chair of Urban Water Management, the Wind Engineering and Fluid Mechanics Group and the Chair of Concrete Structure.
