With "FACE your Future! Women and Start-ups", the Ruhr-University Bochum is offering the next Summer School for Bachelor's and Master's students from all disciplines. Students interested in starting a business can expect new knowledge, skills and contacts in the field of start-ups, and are invited to attend with academic experts and experts from start-up practice. Registrations are possible until 14th April 2022.

The Summer School at FACE@RUB aims to inspire female students interested in founding a start-up, to provide them with knowledge, skills and contacts and to introduce them to their own start-up idea within two weeks, which will be pitched to a jury at the end. In this way, the students deal intensively with the topics of founding and start-up and gain in-depth insights into interdisciplinary teamwork, presentation techniques and methods for increasing self-efficacy expectations. In addition, the best team of female founders has the opportunity to receive €2,000 in idea funding as part of the RUB's "Proof it!" funding programme. A joint introduction to the Summer School work programme will start on 24 April 2022. The two-week Summer School will take place from 5 to 16 September 2022. A total of 40 places are available.
