On 25/26 April 2023, the start of the vocational training and study fair vocatium took place in Gelsenkirchen, where the three engineering faculties of the RUB presented themselves to interested students with "AllesING!".

2,330 registered pupils and an estimated 500 spontaneous visitors from at least 34 schools informed themselves in almost 5,000 meetings about the offers of universities and companies in Gelsenkirchen - the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering was right in the middle. In addition to Gelsenkirchen, interested parties can get advice from the BI + UI student advisory service in Dortmund (3.05./4.05.), Duisburg (6.06./7.06.) and Essen (5.09./6.09.).

The vocational training+study vocatium fairs are characterised by prepared and scheduled interviews. The students are prepared for the extracurricular learning venues in well over ten thousand workshops (face-to-face events and web seminars). In addition, the IfT organises online evenings for parents by name.
