After a three-year break, the Studienbrücke program took place again on August 3, 2023. 35 students from the USA, South America, EECA and Asia visited the engineering faculties of the Ruhr University Bochum as part of the program. Participants gained, for instance, interesting insights into the laboratory of the Chair of Highway and Road Engineering.

After an informational presentation on engineering studies at RUB, the students were assigned to a workshop of the three ING faculties. The Chair of Highway and Road Engineering invited the participants to learn about the diversity of road construction and the various asphalt formulations.
