Patrick Staubach receives the Dr. Heinrich Kost Award for his dissertation prepared at the Chair of Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering and Environmental Geotechnics.

The prize, sponsored by the Society of Friends of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, was awarded this year for the best dissertation in the departments of civil and environmental engineering, mathematics, geosciences, biology and medicine.
