On 30 November 2023, the research area "Subsurface Engineering and Modelling" invites Master students, PhD students and young postdocs to the event FUSED (From Underground to Surface: Energy Provision and Distribution) at the Event Centre of the Ruhr-Uni Bochum.

Similar to the previous event "CRUST", "FUSED" is also intended to offer master's students, doctoral students and young postdocs a platform for cross-institutional exchange. The event is open to all young energy scientists in the Ruhr region and will take place this year under the motto "connect and interact". No matter in which research area of the triangle "underground - energy - distribution" those interested are working, they are welcome to come to the event centre of the Ruhr-Uni Bochum on 30 November.

In addition to a keynote address and several lectures, the congress programme includes poster sessions and a social gathering after the event with ample opportunity for exchange. The final programme will be published by 07 November 2023.
