Long evening of student counseling

At the Long Evening of Student Advice, prospective students can get to know the RUB and its subjects better through taster lectures, laboratory visits, campus tours and information lectures. The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering also takes part in the program. Together with the two other engineering faculties of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering, it offers insights into the diverse engineering courses, their requirements and career prospects. After an information lecture, visitors will have the opportunity to take an exclusive look behind the scenes of the design part examination. The meeting point for the engineering program is at 2:45 pm at the university shop/entrance at the 'Hörsaalzentrum Ost (HZO)'.

From 4 p.m., the student advisory service will be available to answer questions from all visitors at the information stand in the HZO.

Sustainability flea market

The sustainability flea market will take place on the Nordforum in front of the Ruhr University Library and the AStA Repair Café from 12 noon to 6 pm. Old clothes and used items can be swapped and sold at the market (no traders or new goods). Initiatives, associations and institutions involved in sustainability will also be presenting themselves.

Campus Chill-out

From 2 p.m., RUB invites you to a relaxed campus chill-out on the G-Wiese to enjoy the summer together with live music and cold drinks.
