Organized by the Chair of Computing in Engineering, the event "Linked Data in Architecture and Construction" (LDAC) took place last week in the RUB Makerspace as a combined format of workshop and summer school.

The event offered M.Sc. and Ph.D. students, researchers and experts from the fields of computer science, architecture and (civil) engineering a platform to learn and exchange information on topics such as Semantic Web, Linked Data and Web of Data Technologies, as well as to expand their personal network in these areas.

One highlight was the integrated hackathon, where participants were able to apply what they had learned directly on site. In interdisciplinary teams, they tackled real-world problems and developed practical applications.
