The Most Important RUB Online Tools

The Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering has summarized the most important online tools and websites of RUB for its students, especially first-year students. This will give you an overview of the essential online services of RUB right from the start.

LoginID & Password

You will receive your personal RUB login ID with PIN when you enroll. Almost all online services of RUB can be used with this login data. First, however, you have to set a new password via RUB eCampus. You can do so here

RUB Wi-Fi

On campus, you have access to the eduroam Wi-Fi. To connect, you need to install eduroamCAT in advance and then log in with your login ID and password. You can find the instructions here.

RUBMail

When you enroll, you will automatically receive your personalized email address (forename.surname@ruhr-uni-bochum.de). You should always use it in communication with all faculty and RUB institutions. Get directly to your mailbox here.

eCampus

eCampus makes it easier for you to organize your studies. There you can manage your study certificates, semester ticket, personal data and payments as well as gain insight into the study and examination administration

FlexNow

FlexNow is a website that all students of the Faculty B+U use to manage their exams. There, you can either register for or deregister from exams. You can also view your grades and get a tabular overview of them as a PDF document.

moodle

moodle is the digital learning platform where you can access information as well as work materials for your studies via virtual course rooms. In addition to the info course BI&UTRM/UI of the faculty, you will also find the first semester courses of the student councils.

IT.SERVICES

IT.SERVICES is the central point of contact for IT questions at RUB. There you will find information on software offers for students, on PC pools, video conferencing, and many other online services of RUB.
