Microplastics are currently quite a topic. The tiny plastic particles get into our waters through cosmetic products, tire wear and when our clothes are washed and pose major problems for our sewage treatment plants. There is also much discussion about possible health hazards from the long-lived remains.The staff of the Chair of Urban Water Management and Environmental Engineering under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing.
